Voices from the Road : Collected Warnings

On old streets where many elderly people live, you can often find hand-written warning signs. These signs are somewhat quirky and sharp in tone. Their messages can be about very small things or sometimes very important matters for the safety of the community. While walking through different neighborhoods, I came across these signs and collected them as part of my work.

There are often warning signs in places where people are open about their feelings. I walked slowly through old neighborhoods' towns, where I could still feel the echo of their conversations. I followed their paths and recorded what I found in my way. The people who wrote the warning signs advised me: “Be true to your feelings.”
But are we being honest? Do we want to be? Or are we trying to hide how we feel?
