Everyday Treasures: What’s in Your Box?

Find yourself a Box. No need to buy one—just pick something that feels you. This box will be your sidekick for a while, holding little pieces of your daily life. It should be big enough to handle all your treasures or, at the very least, cute enough to look at every day.

You can put anything inside. A business card from someone you met, a candy wrapper from a sweet moment, tags from new purchases, movie tickets, random receipts… Think about it—we come across so many little objects every day. Some we keep, some we toss. Don’t you wonder what your life would look like if all those tiny fragments came together?

Set a time frame and start collecting as many bits and pieces as you can. Once your box is full, bring it to an artist—or hey, become the artist yourself! Spread everything out, sort the items by themes, colors, or stories, and start creating your very own “journal book.” Don’t be intimidated by the term—it’s basically like making a collage, just like you did in school art class. Or maybe it’s like modern-day journaling or scrapbooking.

You’re creating a visual diary of you.

At the end of it all, you’ll have your very own artist’s book. What’s next, you ask? Well, we’ll figure that out once the book is done. For now, grab a box, start collecting, and enjoy the treasure hunt that is your everyday life!
